The Kid O' Rama Show is a unique radio program, for children, by children, and is designed with the intent to promote children's rights, the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), as well as other current issues facing our children. The Kid O' Rama show is not only a public awareness medium through which the rights of the child are promoted, but is also a best practice example of children and adolescent participation.
The success of Kid O' Rama is dependent upon a group of children and adolescents, ages 11 - 17, who fully participate in the planning and production of the shows. Their responsibilities include:

Selecting topics

Conducting necessary research

Conducting interviews

Assisting with script development and writing

Hosting each show that is produced
While the Kid O Rama Crew, as they call themselves, comes primarily from the Belize District, the cross-section of children is truly representative of the cultural groups present in Belize.
