Components of the Programme All children have the right to be cared for, provided for and educated. Children with physical disabilities also have these “rights” is the fundamental principle upon which CARE-Belize operates. As a policy of the organization, in order to access services (and available equipment) free of charge the following conditions must be satisfied:
the child must have a physical disability
the parent or caregiver must give consent for rehabilitation
the parent or caregiver must also agree to participate in the rehabilitation of the child.
Once satisfied, the process is initiated and a Rehabilitation Field Officer (RFO) monitors the progress being made.
